Privacy Policy
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. LingoCradle does not store any personal data on its website. When you purchase our products, you will be taken to our reseller's site (digistore24). They will process your data exclusively on the basis of relevant legal provisions (e. g. GDPR of the European Union). For further information, please see Section V.
For statistical purposes, we use Web Analytics with Umami. For further details, please see Section IV.

II. Cookies
Neither we, nor Umami (web analytics), nor our provider (world4you) use any cookies.
III. Collection of data by our provider (world4you)
When you visit our website (lingocradle.com), our provider (world4you) stores access data in so-called server log files (no use of cookies) for legitimate interest according to the GDPR. This data is provided by your browser and includes:
- Browser type/version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
- Time and date of the server request
The above-mentioned data cannot be attributed to specific individuals. It is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a period of 14 days.
IV. Web Analytics with Umami (EU Region)
We use Umami, a lightweight and privacy-focused web analytics service provided by Umami Software, Inc., to understand how visitors interact with our website. Our Umami account is configured to process all analytics data exclusively in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), as we have selected the “EU” data region in the Umami Cloud dashboard. According to Umami’s official documentation and public statements, IP addresses are anonymized by default for all sites on Umami Cloud, and no personally identifiable information (PII) is ever collected or stored.
Umami does not use cookies, does not track users across websites, and does not require user consent under the GDPR or CCPA. The collected data is limited to anonymous metrics such as page views, browser type, device category, and approximate country-level location. All analytics data is automatically deleted after 6 months (180 days), in accordance with Umami Cloud’s data retention policy for free-tier accounts.

V. Use of Digistore24 as Reseller
We use the services of Digistore24 GmbH (Germany) and, depending on your location, other Digistore24 entities (e.g., Digistore24 Inc. in the USA) as our reseller and payment processor. When you purchase a product from us, your order and payment data will be processed directly by Digistore24, which acts as the independent controller responsible for handling and storing this information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

We do not store or process your full payment information on our own servers.
VI. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other social media platforms
As part of our social media activities, we process personal data that is either provided directly by you through your use of the platforms (e.g., through messages, comments, or inquiries) or automatically collected by the platforms (e.g., IP addresses, device information). The processing of this data is based on our legitimate interest in interacting with users, answering questions, and promoting our services. Please note that the operators of the respective platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) also have access to this data and process it according to their own privacy policies.
